Analytical balances typically offer finer readability and include a glass draft shield to reduce the effects of air movement. Precision balances cover a wider range of capacities and are commonly used for routine weighing.

Choose a capacity that covers your heaviest sample and its container. Readability is the smallest weight increment displayed; it does not guarantee measurement accuracy. Tell us your smallest sample weight and required tolerance, and we can help you select a suitable balance.

Internal adjustment uses a built-in weight to adjust the balance, making routine checks and setup more convenient. Depending on the model, it can run automatically or at the press of a button. It does not replace external calibration or routine performance checks.

Place it on a stable, level surface away from draughts, direct sunlight, vibration and sudden temperature changes. More sensitive balances may benefit from a dedicated anti-vibration table.

Many balances offer USB or RS232 connectivity for printing and recording results. Connections and software compatibility vary by model, so let us know what you need to connect before ordering.
